Ingrid mobile app
The Ingrid mobile app is for people who work at companies that use Ingrid. A company administrator creates your account. We do not sell your information, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites. Read the full Privacy Policy
What the app collects
- Your name, work email and account number, so you can sign in and your colleagues can see who did what.
- What you enter or choose to send: expenses, receipts, documents, timecard entries, inventory counts, approvals and your messages to Ingrid. The amounts and vendor names in invoices and expenses belong to your company.
- Photos and files, only the ones you scan or pick. Location details hidden inside a photo are removed.
- Your location, one reading when you clock in, clock out or start a break, only if you say yes on the location screen. You can say no and still clock in. Your employer sees the result of the check, not a map.
- A device identifier and notification address, so we can send you notifications and let you see and remove the phones signed in to your account. We also keep the phone model, system version and app version for that list. This is not the advertising identifier.
What the app does not collect
Your face or fingerprint (Face ID and fingerprint unlock happen on the phone and never reach us), any audio, your contacts, or your phone number.
Who sees it
Your company and the people it gives access to. Ingrid keeps the data safe on your company’s behalf and only uses it to run the app. Apple and Google deliver notifications to your phone. We do not share your information for advertising.
How long we keep it
Timecard location results and related records are kept for 90 days after the pay period is paid. Other records are kept for as long as your company keeps its Ingrid account, under its own retention settings.
Your choices
You can turn off location, camera, photos and notifications in your phone settings and still use the rest of the app. To remove a phone, sign out or ask your administrator.
Delete your account
Ask your company administrator, or contact us at [email protected]. Ingrid will handle your request within 30 days. Some records, such as approved invoices and pay records, belong to your company and may need to be kept by law.

Everything is encrypted while it travels between the app and Ingrid.
